Don’t Stop the Movement

Tuesday, March 24th, 2009

Too often in life we falter around, doubting our decisions, moods and actions when in actual fact we should only accept power; for that is what we are and have.

Don’t doubt, seize your moment and move forward with certainty.

Certainty brings with it a catalyst of force, to change the status quo. Life likes us to be stuck in the moment; or rather the ego enjoys it. It enjoys us going round in circles disabling the potent force and change that we inherently are.

So don’t let the ego win.

When in doubt, move. Move someplace else, wherever, just move. In another position you will get another stance on whatever it is you are doubtful about. Stagnation occurs when we let doubt ride for too long.

I am not suggesting that we shouldn’t hesitate and doubt given important decisions that need deliberation, but everything has a context. We know when we are stuck, when you cannot make a decision and that doubt has been clouding the sky for too long. It’s a personal knowing.

Action can sometimes precipitate thought. In metaphysical and law of attraction advice, it would be common knowledge that thought precedes the action, but when the ego is trying to take charge and has a foothold on keeping you stuck to the ground, you need to throw over this advice and get the hell out of there.

I learnt this trick the hard way. I got stuck on the thought precedes action scenario and in fact remained stuck for quite a while. My decisions weren’t coming to a close and the more I tried, the more confused I became, until I realised what was going on. I realised that my actions were being halted through the fear drain game. If I could remain in this state of confusion and doubt long enough, then long enough means I do not have to take action and not taking action meant I was safe. The ego can work in very subtle, clever ways. We can be our own worst enemies and we have to know our own personal slip-up tricks in order to unearth them and make sure we don’t give them more room than is available.

There is a power in movement itself. We have to take a step forward to understand what we are stepping over. It’s a dichotomy.
