After finishing school I trained and studied Graphic Design and Typography at the the London School of Printing (now part of the University of Arts, London) and then specialised in Creative Advertising.
A few years later I studied Music Production and Engineering at the London School of Music.
Interspersed with this I took various non-academic courses ranging from studying Documentary Film Making to Singing to Dance to Quantum Mechanics. I am now studying for a science open degree.
I enjoy learning and the diversity of my abilities is not easy to manage. I am hugely creative and have studied and practicised in all of the creative fields from dance, drama, design, fine art, music and film-making.
Alongside this I am very technical and proficient in many software packages in graphic, music, web and film (main packages including photoshop, quark, indesign, illustrator, CS, golive, flash, dreamweaver, cubase SX, pro-tools, premiere pro, director plus many smaller packages) - I tend to pick up software programs extremely quickly.
I am also experienced in music studios and owned my own for 12 years and also own a camera and lighting kit for amateur film making.
It is very interesting that I am now studying science given my creative background but alongside my creative abilities I am very scientifically minded.
A science open degree is where you choose the modules to study that make up the degree. I preferred this method as it allowed me to put together modules that might not otherwise be grouped together in a conventional science degree.
I have designed this page so that each of the books is clickable and gradually over time I will include some information on each module.
